See? That's nice.Illegal immigration is down to its lowest levels...
Oh, China wasn't paying. Just everyone else.China and other Asian's shouldn't allow it.
just say something nice about the admin. You don't have to single out a specific person for praise.
The American Way in Warfare, which is what DS1 was, the maximum used of force to achieve limited and decisive objectives in a small time frame. Unfortunately we didn't do that in OIF or OEF...but we are doing it here? Excellent.Ok so hold on here.
Iran bends the knee. Strait open, we own the strait of Malacca too. Oil tanking, crypto and DOW pumping. China still with no answer for their energy crisis. American military writ large on a generational run.
Happy Friday, everyone. I am not a 5d chess guy, but I'd ask everyone to zoom out and just say something nice about the admin. You don't have to single out a specific person for praise.
I'll try to be optimistic, but I doubt we'll see any real effects here in the US. When gas goes back down to where it already was and would still be, about 2.20 gallon, Trump will likely claim it's because he won the war in Iran. Lol.While the Straight of Hormuz "may" have been opened before this started, we have now "opened the living shit out of it" - also referred to as "open as fuck"
...which we all know are both better than just the plain old regular type of open.
Love this take for how easily it's dismantled. Let's tug the string.Calling reopening the straits, which were open before we caused them to close a victory is questionable. However, there are other things unrelated he can call a win.
I’d buy that perspective for a dollar my friend…Love this take for how easily it's dismantled. Let's tug the string.
The strait was open before, super true. And when it was open before-
So now, the previously open strait is now open. How about that list above? Any changes there? Could I convince you that the outputs and context of today's reality are objectively a net positive to taking no action in Iran?
- Iran's proxies were engaging in open piracy throughout
- Iran had a Navy
- Iran had an Air Force
- Iran had integrated IAD's from China and Russia that could see and defeat our stealth technology
- Iran had a nuclear program enriching uranium to levels that approach the level for a nuke
- Regional instability was tied part and parcel to Iranian and Chinese influence
- Iran was supplying China with oil in yuan and BRICS was gaining steam
If Trump is smart, he'll say that because he deposed Maduro, secured the arctic shipping routes, secured better oil deals, secured the western hemisphere and denied peer influence, broke apart BRICS with economic pressure, unified the Gulf states against Iran, crippled Iran's ability to produce and sell oil to include shipping, and took the straight of Malacca, all for the purpose of starving and crippling China.I'll try to be optimistic, but I doubt we'll see any real effects here in the US. Militarily? Win. Walk off win. No other way to put it. Yes, we lost service members, and yes, that's horrible. I wish it wasn't so, but we lost the same amount of service members during the single event of Afghanistan withdrawal, and this was 3 separate military operations in 2 theaters (Midnight Hammer, Absolute Resolve, and Epic Fury).
Diplomatically? Win. What leverage does Iran have to go forward?
Financially? Look at initial reactions from the markets. If these things (ceasefire, negotiation, peace) hold? Economy and jobs are burning hot as shit.
Gas prices are 99% of America's bar for "did we win", and I get that to a point.
But this board is the 1% of well-informed people.
