I'm sure this is ALL just the current admin playing 11 degree chess...
It certainly cant be some pentagon staffer pulling out a dusty CONPLAN that's been sitting on a shelf for decades - tweaking it - and then briefing the POTUS like it was written up in the back of a suburban on the way to the White House briefing room.
It certainly wasn't done without a legion of sycophants that get paid to worry about EVERY.SINGLE.THING. that the POTUS says or does and how it will impact public perception.
...or we can just continue to be intellectually dishonest and pretend like Trump did ALL of it himself
-He planned it
-He war gamed it
-He led the op
-He took credit for the parts that went well
Totally wasn't CAREER insiders that have been in DC doing this very thing for decades, It totally wasn't a CAREER insider that was simple presenting one of hundreds of pre-existing CONPLANs with a uick elevator speech on the pros and cons.
