Interesting blurb on Indian culture. It's a 40 min talk, but if you've been exposed to Indian culture as a subordinate it explains a lot. As a former student in tech, I've had the misfortune of being on both ends of the spectrum. Culturally, they have some huge issues that make assimilation with the West problematic; if not impossible.
An interesting event that's happened lately, non-profits funneling migrants into the United States had their funding frozen. I wonder how many migrant non-profits and aid organizations were taking money to traffic people into the US.
I'd place this in the corruption thread, but it fits better here. Below is an interview with a whistleblower about the fraud that was being done with refugees. Where we had hostile foreign nationals given social security numbers and US Passports, alongside a host of other benefits.
Add on: One thing to note, the whistleblower names two NGO's/Charities that were taking part of this. Which means that there were multiple groups aiding and abetting this behavior as noted in the OP.
