To The Moon!

Well, kind of...

In about 3 weeks, on Feb 6, we'll send Artemis II for a trip around the moon. This will be the first time in over 50 years that NASA has crewed a spacecraft that will leave Earth's low orbit.

It's still pretty exciting stuff that, unfortunately, doesn't seem to be getting talked about very much, probably due to politics. However, I believe competition is good and fuels innovation.

This is a stepping stone to putting a lander back on the moon, maybe within the next year or two.

And who, pray tell, will be the first folks to put hands on those astronauts when they splash down? Your friendly neighborhood PJs. Really cool part of our mission set folks don't know about.

I just can't wait to see if they're able to bust through the firmament...
