The membership, particularly some long-time members, hammer the new guys in their Intro threads. That will stop. Immediately. If the guy posts elsewhere and is ate up, then nudge him in the right direction. This Internet Tough Guy assassination routine will end. If you have a burning problem with a post then use the Report feature. If someone is excessively stupid, drop an A-bomb on them, but the new guys? Either welcome them to the site or say nothing at all. One foot in the door and some of you are gnawing on their legs.
Some member of the staff will bump this for a week.
One last thought: We will start calling you out. Tag color, background, "who you know"...none of that will save you and this won't occur via PM.
