I come from a law enforcement not military family so please forgive me if this seems like a stupid question. Where do you live during training? I know BCT you live in dorm style barracks and im assuming that continues on through SFAS but if you’re lucky enough to be selected for Q do you live in barracks for the duration of the various courses?
What is the living situation during Q course?

If you're single and not an E6, then barracks. Otherwise you'll get BAH and can live where you choose with your family.
