Some of these videos have to be virtue signaling attention whores in need of clicks or "street cred" with other leftists.

Reaction videos are so stupid anyway, because again...attention whore.

When they film themselves winning the wobbly stool challenge or the no hands swing contest...NOW THEY have my attention and respect for their dedication. Stop yelling into a GoPro like some petulant child with a temper tantrum and go buy some good rope. Time to step up...and off.

Yeah. I don’t really get the politics driven temper tantrum but some folks process strong emotions differently… I don’t get it but I can just accept it as a difference.

It does make me scratch my head when someone’s reaction in the middle of such behavior is to include the use of a camera to record it. On purpose. (Plenty of things in life I might want committed to records. Behavior like that? That’s gonna be a no from me, dog)

What really makes me wonder about someone’s decision-making is when they then broadcast it not just to friends/family in close-contact commiseration but to total strangers with no audience restrictions. Really? That’s the image you want to show the world? And you expect (demand, really) that the world take you seriously and grant you credibility to in your unhinged tantrum? I’m out.

Victimhood and rage are powerful. People like the way it feels, and more importantly (to them) it gets them attention.

One of the best ways to control someone is through their emotions. If you control peoples' emotions, you can get them to do anything you want.

I don't expect the Democrats to learn any lessons here, as you can see from Hochul, Newsom, Healey, James, Bonta, they aren't reeling from being told that their policies is not what Americans want. They have unsheathed their swords thinking they can go to war or something. They're just virtue signaling. They are also incredibly unhinged. The fact is I hope they don't learn any lessons because they need to lose and lose big for a true reset.

I had thought Republicans as a party had failed to do good succession planning. But you know what? We have some legit smart people who are young and hungry.
 
It came up again in conversation about the missing 15 million votes considering we keep getting told "record voter turnout" - since it seems that Kamala came up 13 million shy of Uncle Joes total - pretty basic math can explain what happened in just four simple words...

The reality a lot of Democrats are going to have to realize is just how unpopular/disliked the Kam-tastrophy was. As we currently sit here today,

Kam has 1,230,656 (in AZ)

Lake has 1,257, 516

Gall-blader has 1, 301,346

I cannot remember the last time we had this many voters who seemingly voted split ticket or state stuff only. 1) Trump's message resonated and 2) Kam's (everything) was a put off to a large swatch of American voters.

Point is, Kamala sucked...but, for the first time in her illustrious career, sucking didn't actually get her to her goal.

She'll probably pick up a few million by the time the count is done, but she'll still have taken a beating from Trump. Considering her numbers are in line with 2016, Obama's 66 million in 2012, 69 in 2008, McCain at 60, Romney at 61, 62/59 in 2004...the numbers are pretty consistent.

People were emotionally worked up and had all day to to vote. I don't see Democrats manufacturing 14 million or so votes in 2020, have 4 years to perfect the grift, and then lose in 2024.

I'm glad President Trump won. I voted for him. But it makes me sad that so many people are angry--no, enraged--by the result, and at me for having the temerity to exercise my basic American right to vote my conscience and choose the candidate I thought best aligned for what I thought was best for my family, for me, and for my country. I wouldn't do that to them. And yes, I can rationalize plenty of moral outrage against their candidate as well.

Although I know they would not return the favor, I'm not going to dunk on people who didn't want Trump to have another term. I'm not going to gloat. I'm not going to throw it in anyone's face. Anger feels good in the short term, but it's exhausting in the long term. My friends before the election are my friends after, unless they choose to abrogate our relationship on their own.
