Again, most of these will be partisan replacements. The only one I'm worried NY or maybe not. New York requires a special election within 80 days of vacancy. Rubio's Senate seat will be via appointment. Waltz and Gaetz seats will be up for special election: Ron DeSantis issues special election update after Matt Gaetz AG nomination. Looks like depending on when the Florida SoS sets the special elections that De Santis may appoint an interim replacement.

I think he's the dog in the list. You've got to give at least one dog in any proposal. Three good choices to one dog.
He's already resigned his current seat. No confirmation = out of the way. One less mess.
For the record, I was all about drain the swamp....burn it all down scares me a little.

I can’t see him getting confirmed; he’s up there with Marjorie Taylor Greene in terms of alignment. He’s a staunch Trump loyalist and will likely support whatever is asked of him for Trump’s agenda. This will definitely be an interesting ride.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Senate goes along with this or pushes back and refuses to approve him.

For the most part, I do not disagree with his vision, I do question whether he has the experience to do it though. No offense to the current or former “Majors“ on the board, but what else has he done in regards to having the experience to be in charge of the whole military.
