They need to be scared, they're acting above the law and being racist. That marine who choked out a deranged lunatic who passed from the cops giving him narcan and not because of the hand to hand combat, is a prime example of BS that should have been no billed. Guess who's doing a show trial in NYC because the marine is white and the POS he took to task was black.

After I got tricked into searching, my reaction caused my wife to accuse me of being a prude and then after seeing her face in absolute horror she understood that life lesson to never doubt my warnings to her ever again.

You know the documentary on turning civilians into cops with escapades into the Blue Oyster Bar should have made the word Blue followed by anything else to be suspect, brother.

Let's be real, he doesn't have the experience. There's no way he has any idea of what the military entails outside of combat arms. Now, if he's a quick learner, he can possibly pull it off. He's going to be drinking from a fire hose until then. Hope he doesn't drown while doing so.

You can do anything if you surround yourself with good people. The problem has been figuring out who those people are. For example, who thought a Green Beret 4 star would turn out to be a complete embarrassment as CJCOS?

Anybody with a brain knows the Hegseth pick was crazy. He is a TV personality more than he is an Infantry Officer. I'm not knocking the guy just on experience, but this is a slap in the face to establishment flag officers (all of them) more than it is strategic.

A couple weeks ago when Trump was on Joe Rogan he talked about how stupid he thought Miley was. Miley wanted the ISIS fight to take 5 years. Trump took a flight that landed in the Iraqi? dessert at a JSOC base in the middle of the night, where he talked to some of their generals. They told him they could get it done in months, and that's what happened. I don't see why he didn't find and tap one of those guys??? Surely some of them are a few years removed from active service by now.

Given the way things have been going the last 20 years, I think the establishment flag officers need a slap in the face.

What do you think the qualifications are? Then, what do you think the qualifications should be?

We've had academics, captains of industry and tycoons, career bureaucrats, but only 3 professional 'warriors' (FOGO). Honestly I am not sure he's any less capable than any of the others we've had; others with more impeccable credentials have performed very poorly.

My biggest concern--really, my only concern--is a lack of management in a large organization, but this handicap can be made up with a strong staff.
