I think he's the dog in the list. You've got to give at least one dog in any proposal. Three good choices to one dog.
He's already resigned his current seat. No confirmation = out of the way. One less mess.
For the record, I was all about drain the swamp....burn it all down scares me a little.

I can’t see him getting confirmed; he’s up there with Marjorie Taylor Greene in terms of alignment. He’s a staunch Trump loyalist and will likely support whatever is asked of him for Trump’s agenda. This will definitely be an interesting ride.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Senate goes along with this or pushes back and refuses to approve him.

For the most part, I do not disagree with his vision, I do question whether he has the experience to do it though. No offense to the current or former “Majors“ on the board, but what else has he done in regards to having the experience to be in charge of the whole military.
