I’ve had time to think about Biden pardoning his son, and while I totally understand it, I believe most people, if given the power, would try to ensure their son or daughter avoids a harsh punishment like prison. Is it right? No, but I understand it. I think Biden let the show go on with his son's “trial” because he believed, in the end, it would amount to a wrist slap—probably something implied or even discussed behind closed doors.
But now, as they say, "Poppa's got a brand new bag," and Trump wants blood. There’s no love lost between Trump and Biden’s camp. Do I think the DOJ would give a fair trial? Hell no—they know they have to cater to the big dog in the house. And Trump? He wants Hunter pinned to the castle wall, with his head displayed in the town square as a warning. Not that I blame him; I probably would too, after how they came at him.

I've heard this so many many times. I get it. MOST people would do this for their kid. No disrespect to you intended, but...
Ask ANY of my sons if I would EVER get them out of jail for a crime I knew they committed. Even if there were no repercussions for them or myself.

Presidents, and State Governors, power to give pardons should never be used for personal use.
And should be for a particular act/crime, how the ability to give a pardon for any Federal Crimes from date of X to date of X....is just crazy.

The conditions of the pardon scream "tell us you're guilty without telling us you're guilty."
Maybe I posted this earlier, but the same people who told us for 4 years that Biden was sharp and smart and perfectly capable of leading this country are the same people who forced him out for Kamala. Now those same people are saying the Biden pardon is legit because so is the presidency.
Which one is it? He can lead the country or he can't. Joe's signing whatever paper they put in front of him.

I believe Hunter is guilty, but do I trust a Trump DOJ to be impartial and judge him solely based on the evidence? No, just as I wouldn’t expect a Biden DOJ to be fair to Trump.
Did Trump's DOJ lock up Hillary? No.
The difference this time, is those that get locked up; fucking deserve it. And hopefully one of them is her and her creepy husband.

Trump has said on multiple occasions that his idea of retribution is winning the election and making America great again. I don't expect anything, but I'd like to see Schiff, Cheney, Pelosi and a few others do some time. Its not going to happen. I also don't see where he's going after Hunter Biden, he's just saying "if you can pardon him you can also pardon me"
