Lost in the mix so far is how the three covert strategic strikes on Russia, Iran and Hezbollah pose a threat to the West. For example, how does a nation check its supply chains or an adversary’s front companies? There’s quite a few questions in the space.

CTF, which you aren’t going to see a lot of discussions about on open forums. There’s multiple agencies that specialize in it in the US, to include the State Department and SOCOM.

I don't know the details, but we receive some items from Israel so that's another potentially disrupted source.

NIST Updates Cybersecurity Guidance for Supply Chain Risk Management

NIST doesn’t apply to commercial contracts, so a lot of the IT shit we buy doesn’t fall under that and represents some of the greater risk we have given it plugs in or operates on our networks.

There is SPRS that’s supposed to be a pre award check to look at a vendors risk.

Specific to CENTCOM and AFRICOM is VTM SPRS - Vendor Threat Mitigation

If ECH II saw this heads would explode. I’m tired of answering PM-whatever and SA-whatever controls we’re not allowed to tailor out.

Good thing companies like Boeing don’t buy counterfeit goods…
