The composer, Ramin Djawadi, also did the excellent music for Westworld as well as my favorite stupid film of all time, Pacific Rim.

I too have a penchant for stupid ass action movies, and I have re-watched Pacific Rim about 10 times. No joke.

While the show has been awesome, I can see his point. It is starting to feel like they are trying to quickly stuff 10lbs of shit in a 5lb bag. It is starting to feel a bit rushed. I agree with Highgarden, highyl unlikely it would have fallen as easily and been such a major threat to the crown.

Oh, and dragons are not that much of a stretch. Some minor quirk of evolution or biology could have made them likely.

Sir, what show are you watching? This season has been pretty great, IMO.

I probably had the same commentary ten years ago when they finished Return of the King.

I like the show, I'm just a book guy and they didn't need to make it easy. Highgarden wouldn't fall like that. My biggest beef is obviously the Ming Treasure fleet that was built in about a month being crewed with the entire population of the Trident.
