I waited this long for that shit. This is as bad as the walking dead. Could have condense that into a half hour and added to the story line
One of the best sequences of scenes I've seen in any movie: When the Red Woman lights the Dothraki swords and they ride off, and from a distance, a thousand points of light on the battle plain. And then the lights go out. There's not an epic battle scene in recent years, not even in LOTR, that can top that for drama.
I was like Holy Mother of Buddha.
We have been told that winter is coming for over 3 years and it is over in 20 seconds. That’s an 1.5 hours of my life that I can not get back. The dragons should have been sent in before the Calvary, they get wiped out in 30 seconds, what did they think was going to happen.I agree with this. The white walkers just seemed like a giant story that was deflated with a pin prick so to speak.
The Arya stuff, awesome scenes and lead up but at what point if that is what it was, could that have happened at a different or earlier point in time? Was that really what we waited 7 seasons for with the white walkers? Also, I guess this gives Wilt Chamberlain credit to his pregame ritual?
I enjoyed certain parts of the episode, but it felt a little cheap given all the buildup.
Only one salvo from the artillery was pretty trash.
Was expecting more deaths but damn...fucking Arya FTW!
Now, for Cersei...
Still some stuff to be sorted...I'm not 100% sure where we sit with dragons (I think we're down to 1?...and Cersei has her weapon) and direwolves (I have no idea...one or two?).
Now what do we do with Bran? What is he bringing to the table (so far, his only real contribution is to serve as bait)? I half expected him to be the Night King. What exactly was he doing when he was warging?
Where are we at? 3 episodes left to settle up?
Right? And Cersei has her dragon weapon, so soon we'll have a dragonless series.But...the BDA:
The Mother of Dragons is now a Mother of Dragon, singular. She's lost 2/3rds of her CAS/airpower. That's huge.
Her entire Dothraki cavalry, annihilated.
She's lost a general and a top advisor: Jorah Mormont.
How many of the Unsullied do you reckon were slaughtered? I'd guess at least a third, possibly half.
The upside is, she still has Arya who I figure is worth at least a battalion.
Wondering the same. We saw it crash hard but no definitive answer as to it's fate.So the dragon that Jon was riding was pretty beat up and crashed landed, but do we know it's dead?
But they hadn't killed him yet. He was warging all the way up to the point where the Night King arrived, then came back.I think Bran was sending a message to the CotF that they killed the NK.
TBT OP: Per last night, the necklace definitely seemed to having something to do with it, so this was evidently a continuity error or it works in ways not apparent to me...either way, I'll miss her perfectly shaped breasts (when she was hawt like the pic above)So as not to offend people who are 3 seasons behind, can we please have a GOT thread where we can discuss real time the current season?
Wanted to post this little observation in the Random TV thread but I didn't want to have to listen to "spoiler alert" bullshit because someone hadn't seen the season premier yet. That said...
Everyone who is geeking out about the damn necklace - this scene from season 4, no necklace and she's still hawt...continuity error? Or does the necklace actually have nothing to do with anything?
This is the first season they have had to write the series without the books as a reference, so maybe it was just a fuck up.

Concur on this and thought the same as I watched. There was a couple scenes that I had a hard time with the low lighting but I think it added to the overall mood.
