Gaming thread

I would buy a console for a handful of games, otherwise....no chance in hell.

I always seem to buy a new console right when GTA is released...PS2 for San Andreas, Xbox something for GTA4, PS3 for GTA5...

Now I use the PS3 mostly for netflix and blue rays...as well as NHL16. Otherwise PC fo lyfe yo.

I had the lucky misfortune of being robbed and my insurance hooked me up with a new 4K Alienware setup. I'm officially part of the PC master race. Trying to go back to a console has proven futile.
I'm really looking forward to Prey coming out in May

Titanfall 2 is having a free weekend (started today) and is 50% off on Origin.
I sure hope that this brings people in. TF 2 is a magnificent game but it's been hemorrhaging players for the past few months. It's really tough to find a game these days. It certainly didn't help that the publishers released it at the same time as Battlefield 1...

Is anyone playing wildlands? I'm on the fence.

Think "Grand Theft Auto - Bolivia".

Seriously, it play almost exactly like GTA - I was pissed about that at first, but overall it's a pretty good game. I've played through the solo campaign and am now just grinding out a bunch of the side missions, so I don't have any input re: multiplayer yet.

Day of Infamy is a pretty fun new game for PC... only $19 on Steam and is sort of a mix of Counter Strike and a WWII FPS... except unlike CS you can use ironsights, which is a selling point for me,

Multiplayer is cool. The downside is you can play up to four humans on coop. If you just have one friend join your team, you lose all the AI. So it's not a one for one swap.

I downloaded wildlands this morning. I like it so far. The driving is a bit of a nightmare. I'm constantly running down civilians.

I might buy it this weekend.

I had played the shit out of GTA V on PS3, when I hit a PS4 I bought GTA V again for the FPS aspect of it, then basically never played it. I started again this week though. It is a fun game though.
