How about that Hunter Biden laptop...

In NYS I can get rolled up over leaving one of my gums out around my own teenage daughter and this woman threw a high end recover into an easily accessible trans can on a public street to try to help keep her crackhead boyfriend out of trouble. And… nothing? Maybe the laws are different in her state.

Idaho you can leave a loaded firearm behind in a public restroom with no consequences.

Found one in a stall, nice little six shooter. Told the gas station attendant. Cop was sitting in parking lot. He came in, unloaded it, put it in a bag to take to the station later. I asked him if anyone will get hemmed up.

He said it happens all the time. Person just needs to submit to a background check and they will return it to the owner. Unless they call before he gets it back to the station, in that case he'll just give it back to them assuming no outstanding warrants. No fees, fines, or otherwise. This was in McCall. Not a backwater town.

It surprised me. I figured it would be some type of citation at least. But, nope. Everyone carries here, and apparently sometimes people forget pistols in the stall when they go to take a shit and it comes off the belt.

When we lived in Connecticut one of my wife’s friends freaked out about me “having a gun out” where kids couldn’t to it. It was a decorated black powder blunderbuss that I brought back from Afghanistan and had on a display over the fireplace. It was a flintlock with no flint and there was no way to load it on the house.

I wasn’t mad, she didn’t know the difference between a real gun and something most of us who went to the. Gram bazaar brought back home.

That’s how you come at me? No wonder I always got the best of you in literally every site election debate in the history of… ever.
The site owner had to give me immunity every year in exchange for my testimony bodying AWP in the election smack talking threads.

The what?

PhD, please. I won every vote in the history of ever. To be fair, you had a hard fought battle for second over pardus, but make no mistake...I'm Reagan and you're Mondale.

It's like this in North Carolina too, but with a great deal of variability in the leniency of local law enforcement and prosecution.

My funny story, when I was a paramedic one of the cops came to our station to drop a deuce, he did his thing and left. Little while later I go to do the same thing and I see his gun belt hanging on the hook in the door of the stall. So that I wouldn't jam him up I used the phone to call the cell phone of the dispatcher for that department (So it would not be recorded on the official line). He was so embarrassed when he came back to get it.

To be honest I am just loving how the Bidens have been painted into zealously fighting a legal battle to help secure gun ownership rights so they can keep their degenerate family name out of prison so they can continue to abuse their power and positions of trust for long term family wealth.

This entire dumpster fire gets two crooked thumbs up.

Word is a popular SOF guy left his pistol in the bathroom on one of the first WPPS contracts and he was released.

I heard it from a TL who had been around in Afghan for a long time. Plausible story, but I'll never know if its true? 🤷‍♂️

At least he isn't the other popular SOF guy who beat his girlfriend and was arrested.

The jury is now deliberating.

So...if Hunter walks it presents some problems for the Left: 1. It confirms Trump's accusation that the courts are politically motivated; 2. It sets a precedent for acquittal for any future defendant charged with the same crime; and 3. it puts a serious crimp in the Left Wing's gun control arguments.

If he's convicted, the Left will spin it that he's just another innocent victim of the drug epidemic. The Trump-haters will continue to hate Trump...and President Zombie will possibly get another term in the White House.

PS. According to Mrs Gunz: Mrs Gold-Digga--the Royal Daughter-in-Law--who's nether regions have been plundered by at least two Presidential sons, has had a Melania Trump-style makeover for her appearances at the trial...and her sunglasses must've cost hundreds.
Win-win for defense attorneys everywhere.
Win-win for future defendants.

He'll get a couple weeks of probation and be on his way. They'll use this is an example to say, "See, no one is above the law".

But, pardon me...I may not know what I'm talking about. 😉😁
Oh I have a much more cynical and longer take on the whole thing. I agree with you though.

Notable charges he *didn't* get hit with- human trafficking, possession with intent to distribute, prostitution, FARA... a host of others.

5 years max.

FWIW- Hunter get SS protection (until dad leaves office), so they have the same issues with him in jail as they do with Trump in jail.
