IIRC the Russians were given a short-notice heads up before the cruise missile strike in Syria during the Trump admin.Question…
when we do stuff like this, do we give China, Russia, or anyone else a courtesy heads up, or do we let them find out as bombs are bursting in air? (in the spirit of not starting WW3)
Russian forces were notified in advance of the strike using the established deconfliction line, Davis said, and U.S. military planners took precautions to minimize risk to Russian or Syrian personnel at the airfield.
Either the rule of law applies to all of us, or none of us are truly protected. Martin Noelmiller learned that, eventually. It is my sincere hope we don't have to learn that than lesson the same way that he did.
There was a period of a few years when SOCOM was diligently tracking and interdicting shipments going from Iran to Yemen, but I believe most of that work has been passed off to other countries. Here’s a presentation by CENTCOM on the issue: U.S. Dhow InterdictionsI have to give them credit: they've tied down an entire carrier strike group using cheap drones and the odd missile here and there. I'm curious how Iran is moving all of this material into the country year after year.
I didn't realize that there is a strong connection between the Ba'athists and Hamas. I thought Ba'ath was secular(ish) and Hamas is distinctly Islamist. I knew there was a Muslim Brotherhood connection but not Ba'ath one.A reminder to everyone. Hamas is a sub group of the Ba'ath party. So is Fatah for that matter. The Ba'ath Party is a direct descendant of the Nazis. So if you are protesting in favor of Hamas, you are in fact a Nazi.
So the Hamas... oops I mean Palestinian supporters in Toronto are now supporting the Houthis.

It’s likely that the Houthis, recognizing that the flow of advanced weapons from Iran wasn’t going to meet their needs, began internally manufacturing some of the systems we're seeing used today, with technical support from the IRGC. I’m not sure if these current systems being used are Iranian imports or domestic manufactured versions.

If this happens, the WH should fire them all.
US govt staffers prepare mass walkout to protest Biden's Gaza policies
If they are members of theAFGE, political left, they are bullet proof. Regardless of membership, no one will do anything, sadly.
Funny, I thought the same. In this game, everybody wins.If Iranian kill Pakistanis who do I cheer for? I guess ice cream wins.

Those same gutless cocksuckers would riot if their officemates spoke openly with a dissenting opinion - hostile workspaces and all that jazz.
Face it folks - the left is winning.
Cops kill a drug-addicted career criminal = "defund the police"
The right says nuh uh - the police are great = police flash-bang a special needs infant - by accident.
Leftists set cities on fire across the nation = peaceful protest by a radical Marxist organization that "doesn't exist"
A bunch of morons protest and get escorted into the capitol = well-organized and executed violent and deadly insurrection
Leftists threaten to walk out of their job over political issues = free speech
Conservatives talk politics in the office = creating a hostile workplace in violation of the Hatch Act.
I desperately want to be a progressive liberal so I can be proud of my elected officials - not because I believe any of that horse shit - but because I am tired of being represented by losers.
