To be clear, Spoilers permitted in this thread. If you get behind on the second season and don’t want to see something, stay away until you catch up.

Just beginning Season 2.

Who else is watching? I have to keep reminding myself that they are “one” person and when they go to their job/home, the other personality essentially dies. Same with retirement. The way they retired Ms. Casey was so well done. She knew, as she walked down that hallway, that her “life” was about to end.

Yet, she’s also Mark’s dead wife. Is she always in the Lumen building? Why was she “killed”? Mark didn’t even work at Lumen yet.

F me this show is a trip.

I started watching it on an airplane from NC to California.
Very odd but interesting story line.

Again…Spoilers.

All caught up through S2. I think 2 more episodes to go.

So how the fuck did Gemma end up with Lumin? It seems like they are experimenting with how many times they can sever her…6 so far? The creepy doctor is a different character in each room, torturing her in some capacity each time.

When Gemma is dressed in the grey outfit she knows who she is, she knows who mark is…she wanted to leave and is being held against her will.

Random observation. Sandra Burnhart plays the creepy nurse…I was thinking that Sandra didn’t age very well, but then come to think about it, she was not exactly a looker back in the day either.

Random observation:
I’d sever a toe for a piece of Helly or Helena. Either one works for me.

More confusing than how Gemma ended up at Lumon is how her "death" was covered up from her entire family.

Spoiler alert Part #2...

...and Mark got to bang them "both"

Right? I think I she went there willingly. Maybe losing the baby and not being able to conceive was more than she wanted to handle, she and Mark were having issues, and she said fuck it. Lumon welcomed her in, gave her the first implant, and now she’s trapped there. She said she wanted to go home to Mark and the doctor told her that he’d re-married and had a kid…that she’d been gone a long time. Crazy when she tried to escape and become Ms. Casey…can she leave the building as Gemma?

I've skipped some of the posts because of the spoilers but I just started watching this show. I'm only on Season 1, E3, but I find it interesting and original. Interested to see where it goes.

However, knowing there's a season 2+ gives me a bit of pause. My concern is I've seen this formula before -- series starts strong, but then, gets too overly complicated for itself and loses its way.

I mentioned this in a previous post somewhere. It's as though writers have a great concept but it's not fully flushed out --they have no ending in mind. Nonetheless, production begins in the hope the plot develops and an ending makes itself apparent. However, along the way, in an effort to remain clever, the story unnecessarily overly complicates itself and searches for direction to a point the original intent is lost and any conclusion just doesn't make sense. In other words, the writing ultimatley sucks. I hope that doesn't happen here but the writing may be on the wall. Hope I'm wrong.

I am with you here. I am trying to get through Season 1, heard how good Season 2 is, but I felt the same way. I love the writing and the progression, but I fear a Lost/Game of Thrones rug pull coming.

The last two episodes have only served to make me wonder if I've missed something somewhere.
If this weeks episode doesn't carry some water, I'm going to write a letter to Elon demanding a DOGE review of the scriptwriters...

I know spoilers are allowed in this thread, but if you haven’t watched it yet, don’t read anymore until watch the finale.

I absolutely did not see that coming.

Holy shit.

Finished Season 1 tonight. It’s Taylor Sheridan so of course you have to suspend some sense of belief, but I enjoyed the ending dialogue and the comment about creating a future generation of terrorists.

As an aside, I’m usually willing to buy into the “dance with the devil you know vs the one you don’t” theory, but I also enjoyed the situation room argument and the line, “if you didn’t want him dead, you shouldn’t have put him on the list.

Season 2 worth the time investment?

What show are you referring to?

I spent nearly the entire weekend planted on the couch because of this show. LOL.

Season 1 was terrific.

I'm now 7 episodes into Season 2 and my earlier concerns are coming true. What the f--- was the goat episode?! And the wilderness episode?!

I'm going to finish the last few episodes, but I'm going to be disappointed, aren't I? Like our guy @amlove21 said earlier, I'm steadying myself for a rug pull.

One more thing... Are Apple and Netflix, hell, anyone in Hollywood, incapable of making a show without inserting a gay love component to their stories?! It seems not.

1: if you are referring to Severance, I don’t remember it?

2: if you’re referring to Lioness… well obviously it was an integral part of the story. That smoking hot Marine fell in love with that equally smoking hot Saudi princess. Once they rubbed sticks and made fire, all the perspective changed for our sultry C.I.A. gal…. There may never be another show that demands the lesbianic lovemaking that those two young ladies displayed for the needs of the story and their craft.

Sheesh.

Both. I challenge you to name a show that doesn't. It's pretty difficult to do.

Severence: Irving and Burt. It wasn't enough to have them just become friends. They had to be gay with interest in a gay love triangle.

Lioness needed 2 gay characters. It wasn't integral to the story but they made it that way...both seasons.

Thems the rules now my dude! And now you're cancelled for noticing. I still give you +1.
