Military spending in 2010 increased by 1, 3%in real terms, reaching 1.630 billion dollars.The slower growth rate than in previous years is partly due to the delayed effect as the global economic crisis,military spending has increased more rapidly inSouth America(5.8%) and America(5.2%).In Asia and Oceania,the increase was only 1, 4%,oneof the lowest rates in recent years, while military expenditures have fallen by 2.8%in Europe.
