National Protest and 'disband the cops' discussion (and now ICE)

Mayor Mom Jeans needs to take a long sip from a stiff glass of STFU...just quit talking.

FYI, here's an interesting list of people not really from MN:

MN Governor Tim Walz
MN Attorney General Keith Ellison
US Senator Tina Smith
US Representative Ilhan Omar
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara
St. Paul Mayor Kaohly
MN State Senator Omar Fateh (also former Mpls Mayor candidate)
ICE Agitator Renee Good

This chick who tried to run over a federal law enforcement officer is already more of a martyr than Charlie Kirk...how is the left and Democrats able to do this for vile things and the right can't for someone who was at least half-decent?

Ma'am, correction, there is no "former" to being a veteran. You either are or you aren't. Well I guess, in my view if you had a sex change you are no longer entitled to the status of your "dead name".

The real question we should all be asking... will this video matter?

It proves that the people who said "she didn't even hit him" were lying. It proves that she was making deliberate decisions, not panicking, and (actually pretty damning) is that she was antagonizing and engaging with an LEO who was giving her lawful orders. Her girlfriend (they aren't married, they just call each other 'wives') was antagonizing and filming for clout.

I am desperately trying to just hold on here and see what new videos drop, but my assumptions from my earlier post were at least close.

But... will it matter to people who already have a narrative they want to espouse (both "sides")? I don't think it will.

Will it matter? No. All the videos are a Rorschach test, people will see what they want to see. I think the only venue in which this might matter will be court, if it makes it that far.

I will be curious if the shot taken that entered the bottom right of the windshield had hit her...or if the one shot through the drivers side window is the one that hit and killed her.

Officer involved shooting investigations include every aspect of the situation, not just the one act. I have worked several as the lead detective, they are not easy and very thorough....unfortunately, this incident is way too public and being dissected in social media.

As Devildoc has said, people will see what they want to see.

We've been a post-truth society for a long time. So no, it won't matter.

The great thing about a video like this is, anyone can make anything they want out of it.

What I saw confirms my hypothesis that this was a good shoot. Others will look at it and say, "you can tell from the body came that the cop lunged forward at the last second, and that's why she hit him. She was a legal observer only trying to get away. THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!"

This is not what the "sweetest, nicest, person in the world" does, nor is it what a "mother who cares for her children" does, either.
