National Protest and 'disband the cops' discussion (please review page 1)

Plenty of precedents for POTUS calling in federal troops, a few of which I mentioned.

When we deployed to Miami with the paratroopers, we weren’t there to protect federal property. Oh, no, kiddies. We were issued face shields for our helmets and practiced riot control, in formation, bayonets fixed. We were there specifically for riot suppression.

My only regret is that we didn’t get to bash in any hippie brains because things never got that outta control.

Sad. 😩

Seattle. Spokane. San Antonio. Dallas. NY. A host of others.

As more people have time off work (so they can travel to the protests) and weather is nice, this weekend is gonna be sporty.

Everyone stay frosty.

This is where my Helmand-based agricultural co-op pays dividends. Amoral War Produce provided the best organic vegetables (night soil is organic), floral supplies, and "farm equipment" around. My RPD tractors are half-off with free shipping for Shadowspear members.

Seeing a bunch of stuff on Threads about people wanting to go to No Kings Day protest in PHX...I tell you guys, the hardcore Left is insane. It's gonna be 108 or something. Like...they get down for the cause and organize like no other. No wonder the conservatives can't govern, because most of us want to be left alone.

Our Gov has staged Guard troops here in SA, and most of the other target cities. Our Commie mayor encourages this, and our incoming Commie lesbian mayor worked for Biden, so we know who she supports.

Actually got a call from one of our techs last night in SA- down at the river walk, protestors flying the American flag upside down, counter-protestors also on scene. Wild times.

I barely would visit my parents in the summer because of how balls hot AZ is; no fucking way I'd be standing on asphalt in PHX to protest.

If you're breathlessly defending illegal immigrants, you have a problem. Legal immigrants disagree with you. Like, a lot. 40 point swing to the right for immigrants. 29 point swing (6 points underwater) favorability rating for illegals.

Make sure to check your privilege when people of color and immigrants are talking, k thanks.

Sometimes I almost regret living in a rural southern town full of Trump supporters. I've got all these guns and all this ammo and a clear field of fire...and no targets.

Sad :(

This is "deterrance".

Last night in Vegas, a protest started, 3 hours in the police declared it unlawful on their twitter, and minutes later took 110 people to jail over it. I am hoping it gives pause to anyone this weekend getting squirrely, just like the rhetoric out of Florida will likely keep a lid on things. Guess we will see.
