It's been quite a bit since I joined, lot has changed and felt a bit of a need to reintroduce myself.

Firstly, Name is Charles, 27, currently enlisted in the USAF, I recently SIE'd from the pipeline here at Keesler, realized SOWT wasn't what I was looking for, trying now to either go blue to green and apply for SF or finish out my contract, build a nice packet and apply for direct enlistment, got a few years before it happens though so I am focusing on my tech school for the moment and keeping myself in some good shape while i heal up a few injuries and start up Mil Athlete.

You quit the SOWT pipeline because it wasn't what you were looking for? Despite all of the information available to you before you enlisted, here and on the WWW, and somehow you didn't know what you were getting yourself into? I can't even grasp that. What wasn't there for you?

Anyway, after quitting you've now decided to go Army SF or maybe take a commission?

What's the real story? Your dots aren't connecting.

I am with FF. There is more to this than you are telling. Either that or you are just someone who can't live out the commitment he has made.

What does SIE mean?

Self Initiated Elimination

Just some friendly advice.....take it for what it's worth.

You made a re-introduction and provided just the minimum amount of info in order to play it safe. I would wholeheartedly suggest you angle in on the reasons why you took the course of action you did and what makes you think you can recover from those circumstances and be an asset within the realm of any military unit, let alone one from any of the families of Special Operations?

Questions? Yeah, expect it. 3 of my esteemed colleagues above are waiting for answers.

You need to be very candid and honest with your answers and think about it long and hard if you think sugar coating it is going to get you a pass.

The answers you give may determine if your mindset and character are worth a damn or if you plan on digging a deeper hole for yourself.

Thank you my brothers. Candidly stated, as expected.
What's the story?

The REST of the story:
If no one minds, here is a list of my progress.
(This all has been from about 2010-present)

ASVAB (69, passed SOWT/TACP AFSC qualified)
MEPS (DQ'd SOWT/TACP - Depth Perception failure)
DEP'd in
Passed PJ PAST (Initial)
Failed PJ EAD (1st, 2nd, 3rd Attempt)
Injury - ITB Syndrome/Rehab 2.5 Months/DEP Discharge ( Extended over 1 year while injured)

ReDEP'd
ASVAB Expired - Retaken (71, SOWT/TACP AFSC qualified)
Passed CCT PAST (Initial)
Failed CCT PAST EAD (1st, 2nd, 3rd Attempt)
DQ'd by Chief from all BA-1 jobs due to failure of run test on 2 career fields
(another way of saying FAIL)
Informed of options, put SERE on list of jobs or exit USAF DEP

UnDQ'd from BA-1 Jobs (If run is sufficiently lower, 8:30-9:30 time)
MEPS Medical Expire (Currently waiting to retake full medical in hopes of passing DP for SOWT/TACP)

Add SOWT FAIL to that list. The list is your previous post from Feb 2013.

Don't go SF if you've failed everything else you've attempted. You'll save us some time and you the embarrassment.

@Jael has PM'ed me his story.

I'm keeping it in confidence and have continued to ask questions of him because....to be frank, his story is a little, um, "interesting."
