Hello all,

So I guess the onus is on me to make a good first impression huh? Well, I joined the PA Nat. Guard thinking it was a good way to get some easy college money. Boy was I wrong. In my 8 year stint I was deployed for a total of four of those years. The best years were my deployment to Iraq, where I was a dimounted infantryman (read "light" about 3/4 of the time). I'm really here just to connect with other people who have been in extensive combat also. Sort of wondering what we all do afterwards...

Ha! I love it Boon. After AIT, we were asked by a local newspaper down there in Benning why we joined the infantry. Every single guy had some answer with 9/11 in it. Of course my stubborn ass said, "Um, for college money" haha. My family has never let me live that down.
