Yeah, McConaughey had a great run that year....Dallas Buyers Club and season one of True Detective.
I'm not talking about the character itself, I'm talking Michael B Jordan's acting. What’s your logic? The dude played the only true villain in Marvel cinematic history (Loki is an antihero at this point but Props to Tom H. For bringing that dirtbag to life). And when I say true villain I mean someone who isn’t a caricature and isn’t just the simple power mad “let’s destroy the world” type. He played a grounded character who, despite the SEAL shit, was a well developed character with real, relatable issues and a plan that made you go “maybe he was onto something...” also he threw some humor in there- “heyyyy Auntie” had me dying. (Go see it if you don’t get that reference. You won’t regret it.)
Still not getting it. He was funny and menacing. Hard to pull that off.I'm not talking about the character itself, I'm talking Michael B Jordan's acting.
That movie changed my views on TS people.Just finished it, everyone's comments were right about it. Great movie, really powerful acting. MM and Leto both killed it.
I saw John Wick 2 the other night...Kewl, loved it, aparticularly the first few minutes. I thought this was a bit better though.
Just saw Annhilation. The entire last act is like one big Tool music video. Great, trippy movie.
I didn't read the books, but from reviews I read, you're right on the nail with "inspired by."Anything like the books? The Southern Reach trilogy was pretty good.. I'd imagine the movie is just a "inspired by" from what I saw in the trailers.
