I liked Triple Frontier. Really did right with the complexities of interpersonal relationships with guys who served together. They loved each other, hated each other, all at the same time.

Even hollywood comms can't keep tragedy from happening. People die and it doesn't seem to be that happy ending everyone wants!!! Life sometimes just SUCKS!!!!

I’m guessing they killed off Affleck because they didn’t want to pay him to return for a sequel (since the dude passed the coordinates for where they dropped Much of the cash).

I don't know about others here but I wouldn't say it's bad, just that with how good the first half is. The remainder is extremely disappointing.

I liked the human aspect, how these former SOF guys aren't supermen, have their flaws, etc. The best have bad days and sometimes they (gasp!) cause those bad days.

Yes, that's the way I felt: I liked the dynamics, but the mission sucked. Or rather the movie about the mission.

Anyone else check out the Motley Crue biopic The Dirt?

I'm not usually into these kinds of movies; ie Bohemian Rhapsody, etc. but watched this tonight and thought it was pretty entertaining. Those dudes were out of control.

Watched Shazam tonight. It was better than expected for a DC movie. Definitely better than the other movie in my opinion. No Mary Sues

I read Nikki Sixx's autobio...that was mad. He and a buddy had this competition to see who could go the longest without a shower and still get laid. I think the winner was around 20 days. The book was insane.

Just checked out the newest Jordan Peele movie, "Us". Honestly, I was pretty disappointed. It was meant to be a straight horror film but ended up more psychological thriller with some gaping plot holes. No spoilers but the big twist was fairly forseeable and there were some weird exposition points that killed the pace of the movie. Overall, 5/10.
