This post makes me so fucking happy. I've been reading the books for years, thrilled that we might have a decent movie series coming out.

Just finished watching Baby Driver, gotta say I wasn't let down based on how everyone was hyping it up. Really loved how they took some deep cuts and incorporated them into the movie. Best I can describe it is imagine Tarantino and Scorsese had a baby and that would be Baby Driver.

I'll have to check out American Assassin when I get a chance though.

Maybe a few cliches (what movie doesn't anymore?) but I thought it was terrific.

American Assassin remains a hard pass for me at the theater. If others continue to say it was good, maybe I'll check it out. The last time I went against my better judgement I ended up wasting time with that shit show "Get Out". Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice....I won't be fooled again.

If there is a movie that didn't need a follow up it is Blade Runner, but I have my fingers crossed.

Not sure if I misunderstand, but check out Tomb Raider 2013 videogame cut scenes If you haven't seen them already. Not sure a near reality video efx and a highly brutal game will get justice on the big screen. I agree with both side of this. If the vg franchise takes a hit it should sue Hollywood.
