So Michael Bay is directing a live action Dora the Explorer film, apparently.
Michael Bay Is Producing The New Dora The Explorer Movie
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Though I would put it in the category of “Most Depressing Films of the Decade.”Picked up Wind River at Red Box last night. Not bad.
Watched an 80s classic with our 7 y.o girls. I rarely sit through a whole movie with the kids, but E.T. was fabulous! Just a few scenes when the government agents were hunting poor E.T. that got them a little scared, so parental guidance definitely needed at points. They were enthralled by the story and got really excited by the flying bike scenes. Mum was equally enthralled. One both parent and child can enjoy!

Thor is a better movie.. just don't take it too serious
What half-wit takes a movie about Norse gods and a genetically mutated human being fighting in space serious?
Good movie. But this reminds me how much I sometimes despise Hollywood and their ilk.
At the end of the original movie when ET and Elliot fly over the agents on the bike, they are carrying guns.
On the re-releases, Spielberg CGI’d the guns into walkie-talkies. Please
Same thing with the “Han shot first” debate in Star Wars. In the original 1977 version, Han shoots Greedo dead. In the 90’s Lucas went in after the fact and CGI’d Greedo shooting (first) from across a bar table and missing; then Han shoots back and kills Greedo.
Double please.
