Super Sweet Movie Discussion Thread

Mile 22 was very good, or to put it more academically- “badass as fuck.” Sure it has a 21% on the Tomato Meter, but it still features a dude getting his throat slit on a broken window...

I absolutely loved it. My buddy and I laughed a lot more than the rest of the audience though.

In other news, season 1 of Jack Ryan is out on Amazon Prime. I finished the 8th episode this morning and I can't wait for season 2. Upgrade wasn't a bad flick either. I'm easily entertained.

Mile 22 was decent. Seems like I spent most of the movie asking, "what did he say again?". Wahlberg talk so fast. But it was a good flick. Definitely sets up for a sequel.

I watched Mile 22 and I thought it was decidedly average- and I love Marky Mark. That Indo guy was pretty amazing with his Indo martial arts. If anyone hasn't seen it, I'd recommend The Raid to watch him really carve up.

Rhonda Rousey mirrored her real life career and didn't do any MMA.

I've never seen Blade Runner.
You're not missing much. Cool world but the movie itself...meh.

I'm sure some people will get upset by me saying that though...

I'm not a particularly religious person and my momma always taught me to turn the other cheek. However, I'll be praying for the both of you to see the error of your ways.

What about that Thor: Ragarok movie though..

Personally it was my favorite of all the recent Marvel movies. I thought it felt the most like a comic that had come to life.

If you liked it I recommend checking out What We Do in the Shadows. It is directed by the same guy Taika Waititi.

Filmed in my city that one too and there's lots of in-jokes from here. So if you feel like there's a joke there but it's not clicking feel free to PM. I felt like that watching The Guard, a very Irish movie.

I agree it was a good film. I just recently watched it. I will check out the movie you suggested!

I do agree that the movie felt like a comic had come to life. Reading the comics books as a kid, it is pretty awesome when they make a movie that turns out to be pretty kick ass.

Finally getting a chance to see wonder woman, what a great movie.

It is absolutely amazing how much she resembles Lynda Carter.

Saw The Nun tonight, it's your typical modern scary movie, jump scares, loud noises, but I'm a sucker for religious themes in my horror movies so I loved it.
