So, good? I am looking forward to seeing Godzilla!
Kid's alien origin and many other things are left unexplained but at the same time it's not really trying hard to not be a Superman elseworld tale. Small spaceship with baby crashes on Earth and is picked up by a farmer couple who hide it. Kid learns he has powers, tests them. Some base powers and weaknesses ( not kryptonite ) are identical if not the same, but they added some other powers and a couple twists. So it's not literaly the same. Otherwise DC would have prob really sued their asses
"The Upside" is out on demand now. It's a really good movie I worked on that I'm actually proud of. "The film follows a paralyzed billionaire (Bryan Cranston) who strikes up an unlikely friendship with a recently paroled convict (Kevin Hart) whom he hires to take care of him. Nicole Kidman, Golshifteh Farahani, and Julianna Margulies also star."

Just saw Godzilla: King of Monsters.
It's definily a must see for Godzilla fans.
It has the most epic Titan / Kaiju fight scenes in cinema history imo. Damn are those things scary when running at you lol
The only downside is the human drama. Besides one or two scenes it's very meh, your typical generic family focused drama. I felt like they tried to pull of some sort of deep anime thing, but it went completly flat. Maybe it's because of the cast idk, the acting was still solid.
Genuinely the Titan drama was more heartbreaking.
It's definitly wort it just for all the Titan stuff alone. Go see it.

I'm psyched about Dune. They started filming in March. Josh Brolin, Javier Bardum, Dave Bautista among the cast. Star Wars and the Tremor films stole a lot of material from Herbert's work. Hopefully they can pull it off.
Watched Godzilla and it was so damn hyyyyyyyyyype. That final battle between the 4 kaiju was the most epic thing I've seen in a movie in a long time and especially the very end of it where my boy Gojira goes full super saiyan? Worth price of admission and a medium popcorn alone.

When it came out it was kind of under the radar...but in case you've missed it, Bridge of Spies is an excellent movie; Spielberg produced it, the Coen brothers wrote it. Fine performances by Hanks and Mark Ryland who won Best Supporting Actor. Based on the Soviet shoot down of Power's U2 and the subsequent prisoner exchange.
