I dunno, the story just seemed convoluted. Like a bunch of neat elements and ideas were crammed in for the sake of inclusivity. Don't get me wrong the action and choreography were brilliant, but world and writing are akin to a hipster dressing like a lumberjack. Also they really need to focus on tying up loose ends in the story.
Gripes
- Ninja's working at an open air sushi bar located under a dingy looking subway stop... the whole scene just screamed Hepatitis C.
- Halle Berry's character and Johns trip to the Middle East didn't seem to fit.
- Organization of worldwide assassins and suicide girl secretaries run by a dude wearing a man dress, who lives in a tent in the desert.
- High Table / High Council still not explained
- He/she/it enforcer???
- Armor upgrades
- The Continental can afford all sorts of crazy glass rooms, art deco junk, and fancy knickknacks, but can't afford to arm their security dude's with body armor or rifles.

- Super-duper high-capacity hairclips

- The betrayal
- The not ending
At the end, I just couldn't suspend my disbelief. I liked the action, but the storytelling just wasn't as good.
