Super Sweet Movie Discussion Thread

Outpost dropped today on Amazon...haven't watched it yet. Based on the book " The Outpost: An Untold Story of American Valor by Jake Tapper about the Battle of Kamdesh."

EDIT: You can rent it from Amazon...it's on video on demand..so various outlets.

Watched this last night and it was done well. Definitely recommend, even though I'm not at all a fan of Jake Tapper. The casting of actual guys that were there added to the telling of the story.

Trying to find movies that the Boss and I both enjoy is always a bit rough. Where'd You Go Bernadette is a family drama with Kate Blanchett that was just solid.

It's been done before, more than a few times.

It’s not like I’m about to go on a national boycott or anything like that; I just believe that there are certain topics that probably should not be glamorized or considered “entertainment“.

School shootings and anything to do with 9/11 are at the top of that particular list.

On one hand I agree with you but on the other, these stories need to be told. So many other equally disturbing events have whole genre's of film dedicated to them.
