Watched “Trap” on the plane today. Good movie. Good acting. Interesting plot.
I don't know, I liked it. What didn't you like about it? I haven't streamed episodes yet.

It got a bit too Polly-Anna-ish for me, particularly near the end. I probably can't describe it better than that.
Carry-On Netflix. Decent action movie. New plot same, old scenes.
Mix of Die Hard 2 at the airport (which I just watched again the other day), Lethal Weapon, Paul Blart Mall Cop scenes. They really are running out of action movie ideas.

Netflix's Carry-On starring Jason Bateman and a bunch of other folks you don't care about.
Bateman is a a "facilitator" to the highest bidder, tasked with getting a carry-on bag to a certain flight without any scrutiny. To do this he strongarms/ threatens a TSA agent (Surprise! He couldn't get into the police academy) into letting the bag through.
Decent tension, a couple of average fight scenes, some overplayed tropes later, annndddd credits. Entertaining, a good popcorn movie when you've exhausted all of your other viewing options or want to turn your brain off for 2 hours.
3 out of 5 hidden earpieces.

One of the absolute worst Marine movies ever. No wonder Brian Keith killed himself.
Well I think the already made an announcement about how woke he made the movie, so yeah hard pass.

Is James Gunn a black, transgender Superman? That would be on brand for Hollywood these days.
I'm kind of over the superhero genre.
Where did he announce this?
Because if it's the statement I've read, nothing about it is "woke".
Especially in regards to the character of Superman.

Don’t get me wrong. I like Nathan Fillion for the role; I think he should have gotten the Hal Jordan role instead of Ryan Reynolds. I think they nailed the hair, but they screwed the pooch on the costume.
