The Racing Thread

MJ and the kid. You can Google and find others.

In reference to Daytona crash, yeah late restarts usually end just like that. Maybe one car crossing the line going the right way, everyone else on fire!

I don't understand why anyone would be complaining, its life on a super speedway. Drivers go fast, try to block, miss judge or just simply act dumb....and it may work or your car may be in 50 pieces.

One or two of the voices were former NASCAR drivers, I forget who because it is NASCAR. :ROFLMAO: I remember those finishes after restrictor plates became a thing. It seems like they are worse now, larger, almost more predictable which is a given with it being a spec series in all but name. I watched cars pulling into pit row and even that looked stupid. It was like someone put the Blue Angels in cars and then gave everyone a lobotomy. "Mongo formation gooder."

Just when you thought the F1/Apple TV deal couldn't get any gayer, I give you the Apple TV/IMAX deal as they "team up" to bring us live F1 races in theaters.

Between that and the cars, I'm convinced they're trying to get me hate this sport.

I'm waiting for the FIA president to get fired for his brother's indiscretions.

IT. IS. RACE WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hoo boy, has this F1 off season been nuts thanks to the reg changes, particularly the power units. Aston potentially running a few laps and then parking the car because it is shaking the battery to pieces has to be one of the best story lines.

It looks like I might need to watch Indy because this last weekend's race looked kind of good from the highlights.

Are they even racing since people are stuck in Bahrain?

F1 said they are chartering flights to get everyone to Melbourne. How are they doing that with airports shut down? Looking at Flightradar24 Riyadh is the closest airport showing traffic. Maybe that's the out?
