The self identity thread.

As a country, we ran out of "other peoples' money" a long time ago. And we may soon run out of "notional" money. I'm starting to draw mental parallels between the FTX scandal and what could happen to the US as a whole. Not very well-developed yet and I'm not sure the comparison is a good one. I'll have to think more on it.

Once you get someone hooked on that sweet, sweet government handout, it becomes hard to ever wean them off of it. That's especially true if the people you are "depriving" of that handout are willing to riot, burn, loot, and kill in reaction.

So in instances like the Christchurch shooting, media won’t even name the shooter to avoid giving the shooter game and attention; but in this situation they want to correct the misgendering because it might hurt their dead feelings….

Good on him for showing just how absurd this nonsense has gotten. It's even better that he didn't try to disguise himself in any way and did it front of the trans goofball who "held" the previous record.

More guys need do this and maybe we'll see a stop to this ridiculousness. What happened to all the feminists and the #MeToo crowd? Shouldn't they be outraged and the mockery that's being made of women's sports?

Was at a university the other day and a couple kids introduced themselves as follows:
"Hi, I'm [first name], [last name}...my pronouns are [blah, blah, blah] (whatever they referred to themselves as)..."

Get the f outta here! People actually talk like this now? Good grief.

I haven't purchased Nike anything in like 8 years...so I've voted with my wallet. Republicans never stop buying sneakers, the last time there was an issue was the kneeling shit in the NFL. AB-Inbev had like 400,000 calls a week about it for most of that season, so did Coca Cola. Main line sponsors held meetings with the NFL to do alternate things because kneeling was so offensive. Well... AB-Inbev partnering it with this being, I just can't call them a person. Apparently they are also a nasty person on social that will hunt you down and spew hate in your deems. Well Nike can eat it, they've treated dozens of women athletes who have been contracted to them like shit. They straight up cut refused to protect Allyson Felix with a maternity policy in contract negotiations.

So yeah...unless you call them en masse and write letters, these woke ass idiots run amok and push their trash on you.
