I stand corrected. Some folks in the office are receiving the letters while others are not. I don't know what the break point is...maybe the 10-year mark? I don't know.
OPM has a new email address that can communicate to all federal employees.
The email went out late last night to every Fed in the country. Most people aren't scrolling down to see the section that says:
"...except military personnel, USPS employees, positions related to immigration enforcement/national security, and those specifically excluded by your agency."
Something I'm noticing with this/some of the EOs is they are forcing agencies to be reactive instead of proactive. Why not avoid all the confusion and headache by giving agencies a short period (7/15/30 days) to determine where cuts are and then provide that information?
I'm assuming it's because they are trying to get around injunctions and lawsuits, but those are happening anyways.
