The Trump Presidency 2.0

I think this statement is overused by people who want to avoid tough conversations. Not unlike claiming whataboutism when you really just dont want to hear the other side.
When we're talking about something that's going on right now, and they instantly default to Epstein or 6th JAN, it's for sure a whataboutism.

Whataboutism is used when they don't want to admit that their side was wrong and it's a way for them to deflect and move the goalposts to avoid admittance that they were wrong, another fallacy. It's a valid claim here. I want to talk about what just happened, I am not avoiding something entirely irrelevant that's being used to topic slide away from what's making them uncomfortable.

Whataboutism has its place. In most cases, you can blame a president or leader for something and then the other side can point out how your guy did it too, or in some cases, worse. In this case, the other side is against Trump's hard stance on illegal immigration but I'll point out that their hero, BHO, deported a shit ton of people and there are many validated instances where Dems were for deportation until TDS set in. Its why we are where we are in Minnesota.

Agreed.

I don't understand the hypocrisy. It's like they're doing it not for anything else other than because of TDS. No reason to it. In Phoenix recently, they're mad that some human trafficking at grills and eateries were broken up not because the food and establishment that they frequent are gone, or that human beings that they keep gaslighting us to have some compassion and empathy for, were being used as slaves. They were mad that it was even done at all because orange man bad, fuck Trump, fuck ICE, etc, and not for the fact that human beings were being exploited and also happened to be here illegally.

Just a random thought for the "It's both sides" folks.

Can anyone here present something on the right like what we are seeing from the left in Minnesota? The signal chats? The hunting of federal agents? The coordination?

Or are we all good with "the left commits political violence at scope and scale magnitudes of order higher than the right" now? I think we have enough evidence.
I have always been in that camp, at least since I started paying attention to politics. Or history.

Feds need to step in and charge.
Local DA will plea it to nothing, or never bring to trial if it was staged.
Letting the guy face real time in the Federal System could elicit a confession.
Reports say he was released into federal custody sometime yesterday, but Hennepin County jail roster still shows him in custody.

this story will become the new "assault on democracy", it's already happening.
Democrats are super pissed that Tulsi Gabbard has been on site in Georgia. They are wondering why she's there, I'm wondering why they are so upset? The media narrative is now to claim Tulsi Gabbard has been a failure in her position and basically has been assigned busy work. This is interesting to me, because I believe there was big election fraud and it needs to be addressed. No, I'm not ready to move on. It still matters.

Say you uncover fraud, slam dunk evidence. What's next? Throw people in jail like they did over Jan. 6 prosecutions? Like with Epstein? The infamous laptop? 2016 elections? Whatever else I've forgotten?

Republicans aren't going to do shit and even if they do, what does it say about the topics above? Some of those topics could carry 20 to life, but who is in jail over them? Not the Democrats. What foreign parties or actors were banned from the US? Yeah...

Hearing things about Maricopa county being next. Although I think there were some funny things that occurred out here, my wife is an Attorney and we know the Recorder from the time. 1. He was a Democrat 2. My feeling from the time based on my wife's work is that things were pretty professional. The weird things were ballot harvesting, well Mesa had a councilman run a ballot harvesting company that got rolled up for doing that shit in other parts of the state...but also in Pennsylvania. Apparently they didn't find enough evidence to charge in AZ and I believe ballot harvesting is not illegal in PA. But shit like that is where there are problems that can be legal but lead to issues.

People can sue Georgia to recover legal fees.
Fulton Co. DA aggressively prosecuted folks for false claims.
