The Trump Presidency 2.0

Hoooooooooo boy. So, I never advocate for dry snitching. I further recommend against dry snitching on yourself. There is no world in which I would recommend dry snitching on yourself for a crime that has no statute of limitations, on video... but here we are.

Minnesota State Representative Kaohly Vang from Minnestoa- what is you doing, baby?

Be a shame if someone tagged DHS, Noem, Holman, etc. in that thread.

The Menswear guy did that just the other day.

I would hope this kills Disney's live action remake trend, but Lilo and Stich has made $800 mil last I saw.

They'll just decide people don't want princess movies anymore and start doing live-actions of Pixar films.

ETA: I wanted to see how bad it did compared to to some other recent ones. Technically it beats Mulan ($70 mil), but the article probably isn't counting that because it was a COVID release.
Snow White beat Cruella domestically by $1mil, but that movie also cost almost a 1/3 of the price. It was also a decent movie.

"Permanently"

"Shall not be infringed"

"Shall make no law"

"shall not be violated"

...all things said by a government that doesn't really mean any of them

As soon as enough leftists are returned to power the roller coaster of "permanent change" will swing back to the left just like it is starting to swing right under the current administration
tick tock tick tock tick tock

"Permanently"

Something that's a real issue for Trump- he ran on no new wars, and I voted for that. If the admin doesn't stick to the below lists- they're cooked, as the kids would say. He's gonna lose the plurality of power he's built with these other issues- and that's me included.

1- Mass deportations.
2- Secure the border
3- Fix legal immigration
4- Economy
5- Arrests and prosecutions (accountability) for the deep state folks that have harmed America.

FBI is alleging that China interfered with the 2020 elections. The J6 committee. AIPAC influence. Domestic terror organizations funded by taxpayers and operating with impunity. These issues matter to the rank and file Trump voter, and unless they focus- the mid terms are not going to be pretty.

People aren't going to switch parties, the republicans are gonna throw their hands up and just not turn out, and that turn out is what won him the election. Things in America are bad enough now- he has to capitalize by focusing on what got him the election.

This is what just happened to the Dems. Harris trotting out the Cheneys was never gonna get Republicans to vote for her, it just made people not bother.

If things clack off you'll see (at least in the mid-terms) GOP hawks/isolationists split and moderates walk away from the GOP. Nobody wants us to get back into big fights.

The issue that the Republicans often have is their inability to deliver when they have a narrow majority. It's a big tent party. Whereas the Democrats don't cross the aisle much.

There's just nowhwere to walk away to, really. Folks aren't leaving for the dems, that's not their game. And without a 3rd option, I think they just make their voice heard by not doing anything to support the party until they figure it out. Guess we will see
