So, why does Trump have such a hard on for Greenland?
So, why does Trump have such a hard on for Greenland?
I have no expertise on Greenland or it's resources, but the optics of Trump's approach are terrible. It's just stupid. So, why does Trump have such a hard on for Greenland?
Do you guys have any idea how much the CCP is embedded throughout California? Newsom is essentially a plant. Why else are these idiots putting a ballot to rob people of their unrealized wealth? (Yes I know Newsom tweeted against it, but he was a huge part of how it got this far, he failed to lead the state)National security and concerns with military Chinese and Russian economic and military expansion. Also some resources of course

We've had strategic interests long before Trump, and its not less important now. I agree with building up forces using the 1951 agreement. This is a situation where winning hearts and minds would be easy. I think most there would prefer our support. Threatening to take her by force is likely just creating more enemies. So, why does Trump have such a hard on for
Bases sure. Trump wants to put the missile defense shield on it.Didn't they (Greenland/Denmark) say we could put bases there? Which would cover the national security issue (?)
In 1951 they granted us free reign militarily but Denmark would maintain control of Greenland. This why I think its more about owning resources.Didn't they (Greenland/Denmark) say we could put bases there? Which would cover the national security issue (?)

DOGE seemingly died on the vine after, what, 2 months?
We're a year into the 2nd Trump administration and Republican trifecta and there's virtually nothing to show for it. Just a bunch of early EO's that will all easily be reversed at the first opportunity by Democrats. There's really been no meaningful legislation to address any of the issues Republicans and Trump ran on.
The Dems, unfortunately, seem take action much more. They certainly did at the state level in Minnesota. It's also how we ended up with Obamacare. Both parties have an amazing track record at this very thing so I don't know why y'all thought it would be different this time.
So let's follow this down a somewhat logical path...I guess it was only a matter of time…
