The Trump Presidency 2.0

Here's my big issue:

We're a year into the 2nd Trump administration and Republican trifecta and there's virtually nothing to show for it. Just a bunch of early EO's that will all easily be reversed at the first opportunity by Democrats. There's really been no meaningful legislation to address any of the issues Republicans and Trump ran on. Doing > talking and all I'm seeing is a bunch of no action talkers. DOGE seemingly died on the vine after, what, 2 months?

instead, we're talking about nonsense with Greenland and watching lawless bullshit in Minneapolis again.

That's not what I voted for.

Both parties have an amazing track record at this very thing so I don't know why y'all thought it would be different this time.

The Dems, unfortunately, seem take action much more. They certainly did at the state level in Minnesota. It's also how we ended up with Obamacare.

But you're correct: Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

I guess it was only a matter of time…

Around 1500 soldiers are reportedly on standby for a potential deployment to Minneapolis

Officials have reportedly informed ABC News that two battalions have been put on alert for a possible deployment to Minneapolis.

According to ABC News, two defense officals has informed them that two battalions from the 11th Airborne Division have been put on alert for a potential deployment to Minnesota.

The 11th Airborne Division, stationed in Alaska, is reprotedly one of the Army’s top infantry units, and plays a key role in deterring China in the Pacific.

Their deployment, should it occur, would be to support federal law enforcement in Minneapolis as protests continue across the Twin Cities against the presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

So let's follow this down a somewhat logical path...
What specifically are these troops going to be doing?

Are they staging near potential ICE targets, then swooping in and rounding up and detaining agitators for ...the day?

Then what?

Release them, then rinse and repeat daily? Does this action move the needle in a meaningful way? Is it sustainable?

What is their objective?

What needs to happen is make public the international funding and coordination of these anti-ICE movements. And now the protests. There's no coincidence this is happening after Maduro's capture. Throw in Canada bending the knee to the CCP. China just replaced their Venezuelan oil and has a foothold near the Northern border.

I could not love your post more. We are going to be devastatingly destroyed in this upcoming election. Destroyed. When the Dems have power again, and they will, standby to standby.

When I think about what Trump is done to this party, the party I have been a proud member of since the early 90s, it makes me so angry. I love a good Star Wars reference, and this one really hits home…

I refuse to blame Trump for the inaction.
He may be guilty of pages and pages worth of random shenanigans - but it certainly isn't government inactivity.
Maybe I'm just watching all the wrong news programs.

The Republican led house and the Republican led senate have made decades long careers out of inaction.

Then - they refuse to help their party president push through a conservative agenda.

ITS.WHAT.THEY.DO.

The entire republican apparatus has been a shameful disappointment for most of my adult voting life and they all thrive on blaming their inactivity on anything but their own inactivity.

Its WHY we end up with executive orders. These shit fisted corrupt pricks in Permanent DC have ZERO problem allowing the POTUS to get ALL of the blame - but everyone forgets that McCain talked endlessly about "the wall" before Trump showed up.
I LIVED IN AZ - I watched this self appointed so called "Maverick" walk the fence with BP officers while campaigning for reelection
finish the wall
finish the wall
finish the wall
...then suddenly - the wall was stupid

Repeal and replace Obamacare was a battle cry of the right.
Then they got a little control...
Boo Hoo - our voters don't understand that we can't do it alone - the other half of the legislature will never send it to the democrat POTUS
...AND IF THEY DO, HE'LL JUST VETO IT
....BOO HOO HOO

Then they got their trifecta - and some of these cocksuckers actually voted AGAINST the repeal and replacement of Obamacare
something these pricks had ALL been running on

....trumps fault
...he's just so childish
Booooo doanld Trump
HOOOORAAAAAAY good decent republicans that cant get anything done because Donald Trump is an immature egomaniac

I'm not drinking the Bad Trump kool aid - I'm not taking any candy from the PDF file politian in the red and white van.
ITS.NOT.JUST.TRUMP.

I'm over it folks.
Its the ones that are there in permanent Washington YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR...
...the ones that spend more time bashing their own party and their own voters than they spend bashing democrats and leftist agitators

The same ones that have their constituents convinced that "they" cant get it done because of Trumps Twitter posts.
Bullshit.
