Game of Thrones thread -

Arya's situational awareness sucks!!!!

I yelled at the TV, WATCH OUT FOR THE OLD LADY...nobody listens to me.

I don't know what the deal is with Arya, she's been through all that training, she's an experienced killer, she got bushwhacked like a fuckin amateur.

I think Little Finger and the tit-suckin spaz kid from the Vale will show up at Winterfell to reinforce Sansa and Jesus, er, Jon Snow in their attack on Ramsay.

That's the end of the limb I'll go out on.

The prevailing fan theory is "Arya" is Jaqen. Way back in the long, long ago he granted her three wishes. The last was for him to kill himself. This is a way to test the Waif and fulfill Arya's third wish.

I could care less if Lady Stoneheart returns, but she would be the perfect way to end the siege at Riverrun. If the Lannisters take the castle they are bled white and the Tully's are all dead. If they fail then are bled white (or worse) and the Tully's retain Riverrun. The Lannisters can't afford a Pyrrhic victory with an intact Tyrell army in King's Landing and a scheming Margaery on the throne. They need a turncoat to break their defenses, some type of trick, or die like flies.

Sansa chooses the short term good over the long term evil (Littlefinger). I won't be surprised if he catches a blade from her before this is over. Did I mention she's hot?

Wait...Was it Arya's third wish that he kill himself? Or did she say, "What if I wished you to kill yourself? Would you do it?" And hasn't she considered him a friend?

Apparently, according to some GOT nerds who know somebody, the somebody's friend of a friend went to a comicon somewhere and they overheard somebody saying that they heard George R.R., who was at the comicon, say that HBO would not have Lady Stoneheart in the series.

He's also said Danerys wasn't fireproof, the book would publish in 2015, and Jon Snow is dead and not coming back. Michele Fairley said she was done with the series, but I don't put anything past the showrunners.

Maybe she doesn't return, maybe she does, but I put nothing past them at this point.

IIRC, she did say it, but then she took it back. I could see him testing the Waif though, and perhaps "a life for a life" will absolve Arya.

I'm going back doing a drunken recall 57 Episodes nonstop slayfest...:wall:

However...I remember Arya Telling the faceless man the third name was Tywin, But Tywin left. So He says name another name anyname...blah blah, and Arya says Jaqen.
He tells her to un-name him, she says only if you help me escape, he does by killing alot of Guards...then gives her the coin and some saying that gets her into Bravos 3 season later!

I think all debts paid!

I am up to speed on who the other players are in the last episode:
Blackfish.....Cat's Uncle!
Edmure...Cat's Brother!

Had we seen Swidgen before????

Yepp, he is Cat's uncle, sorry I messed that up...Edmure is Cat's brother.
Earlier when Little finger came to meet Sansa I thought he said "your uncle Brynden"...but he said great uncle...

I suck at life!!!:wall:

Fixed above...

What's up with Margerie? She's either scheming something against The Faith or she just set up QoT. My current guess is the latter.

Still think the writing this year sucks....

I can't figure out what's going on with that ho either. My money is on her playing the long game against the Faith in order to facilitate Highgarden crushing them.

My qualm is with Loras Tyrell story line. He's the King of the Flowers, a talented knight who got Renly to build an Army and fight. It hasn't been that long and now he's a cowardice bitch?

I think it's clear Margerie is playing the long game here, but Loras is not.

Serious question...does this show suck now? I gotta be honest, I've been bored most of this season.
