Gaming thread

ARMA 3 is on sale via Steam until June 22nd. The base game and other pieces are 66% off while the first DLC pack is 20% IIRC. I think I'll buy the base game at a bare minimum. Are the aircraft packs worth the 4 or 5 dollars?

Also, Steam's summer sale should kick off soon, so check that for dirt cheap games.

It depends if you like to fly and use a joystick or not. The heli one is worth it for me, but the jets one is meh so far. Depending on the mod you play it is hard to find an airfield to operate out of. If it is on sale and you like arma then get it.

3 days left in the Steam sale and I have Arma 3. I'm taking a beating even in single player.

You should pick up PUBG if you haven't already. @Ves has led a couple SS wins and since the AS servers are better than the NA servers for the most part right now it doesn't matter too much where in the world you playing from.

PUBG is on my list to be sure. My Net connection is a bit flaky from here so I don't know how often I could play.

I've got PUBG and it is a fun game to play with friends, not so much solo. We usually play a few rounds in the evenings. Certainly worth the buy.

ETA: Our gaming community was granted early access to creating custom PUBG servers. Once we get them up I will post here so we can have larger than 4 player squads.

Now I have to call in sick to work everyday so our available times are the same.

I know this going to sound slightly lame, but, if you were a fan of Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, and/or Farmville; Steam has an awesome game called Stardew Valley. It has Super Nintendo graphics and is so much friggin fun. Instead of picking up a new language or volunteering at the archaeology lab I've been sucked into this game.

This game is still early access, but is freaking amazing. I have two others in my clan at the moment, and I have to say there is a lot going on (building, raiding, defending, etc). Check it out:
