I watched it last night, having been out of town on Friday. If I am to understand correctly, there's only one more episode left.

Every time I watch one I keep thinking, that was the best episode, they can't outdo it, and then they do. Last night's episode, that was the best one yet.

I think there is always a reason for him doing those side quests. Mando's mission was to bring Grogu back to "his people", now that somewhat changed from finding his race, to any Jedi who is willing to take care of him.
The side quests all involve information or items that help him either progress in his main quest, or protect/save Grogu.
Yeah, it's an overdone formula and repetitive, but the way I see it, the show is a lovely homage to classic Western / Samurai flicks and I personaly am totaly forgiving of the repetitiveness because it keeps me entertained with all those nods, references and eastereggs.
I guess it's a matter of perspective and preference. I absolutly get how casual viewers would remain a bit confused by all the references and populating, even after exposition. I noticed some stuff in it that only hardcore fans would even recognize.

Read this whole post and it reminded me of Tom Hanks new flick:

Bill Burr was just Bill Burr in this. Loved that.

Hate for Bill Burr in SW. I love Bill Burr, but he is about as starwars as a garbage pail kid. (I'm fhram space bahsten, wooooohhh)

To me, some of the casting choices have been by far the worst aspects of this show. Pod racer droid lady, the entire 'pirate' cast in Bill Burr's first episode, that skeevy punk kid Mando chased the Chinese lady with...

Ugh.

Son of a bitch.
I know this is the spoiler thread and anything can go. But I’m not gonna be the one to reveal what happens post credits.

If you do want to be that one, be so kind as to put it in a “spoiler” tag so that folks can avoid at least for the first 24 hours.

I’m finally to the age where I’d rather watch Star Wars porn than real porn.

No!?!

No I never do.

Be right back.....
With Disney I've learned to use the little preview thumbnails that show up when you're trying to fast forward/skip ahead to see if there's anything post credits.

That was probably my favorite episode in the whole series so far. My only complaint was that the Luke voice felt off, but that's to be expected when you have a guy trying to emulate his own voice from 40 years ago.
