Why not just call for peace? Why add the protest part? That just struck me when I saw it on a ticker.
I saw two videos, one 1:37 of them trying to get him to the ground in him getting up and getting tased and running. Then another video much shorter of him getting the absolute shit beat out of him.
No excuse.Yeah. The video of the cop showing up and then straight lining the dudes head up and field goal kicking it is pretty intense ass shit.
All five cops are charged, I hope they all get convicted.
The question remains- if we see what happened and the system has already started the process to punish the criminal actors, what are we protesting? What is the goal of the protest- to get more charges? Or a harsher penalty? Or stop future behavior?
There is the 10% of the protesters that are there for the peaceful protest....the other 70% to 90% are there to cause issues...be it violence, property damage, theft, anti govt...etc.

Yeah this is what I mean. I’m 110% for protest and civil disobedience- but not just for the sake of protesting.I would assume, to stop future behavior, but I don’t actually know. Personally I don’t get protesting for I stance in Durham, who has one of the most progressive police forces in the state. But what do I know.
