My first SL had us dip out on a Friday for some “off post PT”, which was just us going to my TLs room in the B’s with a 24 pack of coors yellow bellies and watching “Heat” with us pausing and rewatching how they broke contact and did mag changes.
Heat was a frequent training film for Recon Platoon 6RAR in the 90s. That old VHS tape nearly got worn out.
When Heat was in the theater I must have seen it 6 times. Great script, especially Pacino's dialogue.

Excellent movie!
I caught Super Troopers 2 yesterday. A few laughs, all the gang is back, a couple of cameos, It's not going to do as well as the first one, but I'm happy enough to have supported it on Indigo to get it done.

We have HBO for free for the weekend. I usually DVR a dozen movies. Last night I watched John Wick 2 and drank bourbon. Good, fun flick. It was a good night.
