The PIT for trained members and just slamming vehicles for the uninitiated still works south of the Mason-Dixon line.
-Added benefit, if you meant to cause an accident, you don't have to pee.

The problem with a PIT is that it's too reliant on the pursued driver not knowing how to easily beat it.

So PDs and SOs that are already under-budgeted and under-staffed now have to purchase and train on new equipment that only marginally improves their ability to tackle pursuits, that most agencies aren't even partaking in anymore? I don't think we'll be seeing this implemented in many agencies other than for PR.
