Late to respond. Part of the reason is that deviants have taken over the field of education. The Department of Education is infested with liberals and educators themselves tend to be very liberal. As for how I know this, I'm finishing a semester with them
. The shit that they've taught in classes and coursework has been wild. Like classes being called off after T$ won the election, students throwing fits, and a class dedicated to gay rights. Even had a professor teaching a lesson that said children know their gender identity before or around the age of 5 
.Part of why this isn't in the mainstream is because educators, the Department of Education, and govt, are backing this degeneracy. If good educators don't comply they get canned or turned into a persona non grata. It also doesn't help that the field of education is largely dominated by college educated liberal women, with a large smattering of liberal men. Add in vast amounts of money, liberal lawfare, and diversity quotas/laws enforced by the Dept. of Education and you have the mess we're seeing.
You gotta remember, this is a voter base that helped champion this degeneracy. They're not going to let an incident like the above shatter their world view. Not being able to segregate/bar problem children from the rest of the class population is also a problem. If you have an activist educator or a child that's been groomed into buying the trans ideology... holy shit do things get bad.
Between the internet and stuff going on at schools, some of these kids have no chance. It's seriously depressing.
