I screwed up my numbers. E-4 replacement is 5, VC-25 is 2. The one story I read on a defense website had the blurb about using a/c built for a Russian airline, but never left the factory. It wouldn't surprise me if Boeing found a cheaper source given it is taking a bath on those contracts.

Rep Ro Khanna is a turbo dork that I disagree with on about every important issue I care about and think is good for America. That being said- he's exactly correct in the below video. He nails it. +1, bringing his total to (*checks spreadsheet*) negative a bajillion.

Elected republicans- President Trump campaigned on and was elected by a clear mandate to do what he promised to do- be more like Khanna. Get off your ass and start introducing legislation to formalize these EO's. Now.

Trying to have their cake and eat it too. As Ro pointed out, vote with the people or the lobbyists, choose one. Congress is waiting to see how the people will react to Trump's EOs and policies before they commit to anything. They don't want to commit now and run the risk of approval numbers tanking. WE can quote all of the numbers we want and it doesn't matter to Congress. They would sell their moms into slavery if it meant they are re-elected.

They'll give up some sound bites and sort of sit on the fence, but go on the official record with a vote? You can walk back a sound bite, you can't walk back a vote in the House or Senate.
