The Trump Presidency 2.0

Action meets consequence.

Federal grand jury indicts Wisconsin judge over alleged Ice obstruction

“Prosecutors say Dugan escorted Eduardo Flores-Ruiz and his lawyer out of her courtroom through a back jury door on 18 April after learning that US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) agents were in the courthouse seeking his arrest.” As a result she’s now facing up to six years.
And the judge in charge of the trial? Super progressive liberal activist judge Lynn Adelman, a Clinton appointee.

I am sure the judge will be fair, and balanced, and just. /sarc

I would like to highlight and support a liberal democrat and flame the other side of the aisle.

Rep Ro Khanna is a turbo dork that I disagree with on about every important issue I care about and think is good for America. That being said- he's exactly correct in the below video. He nails it. +1, bringing his total to (*checks spreadsheet*) negative a bajillion.

Elected republicans- President Trump campaigned on and was elected by a clear mandate to do what he promised to do- be more like Khanna. Get off your ass and start introducing legislation to formalize these EO's. Now.

Trying to have their cake and eat it too. As Ro pointed out, vote with the people or the lobbyists, choose one. Congress is waiting to see how the people will react to Trump's EOs and policies before they commit to anything. They don't want to commit now and run the risk of approval numbers tanking. WE can quote all of the numbers we want and it doesn't matter to Congress. They would sell their moms into slavery if it meant they are re-elected.

They'll give up some sound bites and sort of sit on the fence, but go on the official record with a vote? You can walk back a sound bite, you can't walk back a vote in the House or Senate.

Totally agree. I have said since the beginning- I want votes, I want the process, for all the reasons you so eloquently elucidated.

I read this after my post.
Dems divided on Trump's executive order aimed at slashing drug prices

Hey, I was right on a prediction! Now, about Michelle's package...
Of course they're divided. Some of them hate Americans generally, while others just hate Trump and resist everything he does.

I'll beat this horse that is currently on life support- "No matter how good I do, you people on that side of the aisle won't support me." - Trump.

This is just example 1 million.

I mean...that's one way to administer a Stop Loss program.
Ah yes, stop loss. The second time I tried to (unsuccessfully) rage-quit the Army.
Guys, guys, that's mIsInFoRmAtIoN! It's not like you can't retire- they just can't process you, and you can't get orders or a 214, and you can't PCS/retirement move, and you can't leave your unit, and you are still on the books, so they can't PCS anyone in, so they're just telling you that you can't hit the button and get approved for retirement and then retire.

(this is no-shit the response from senior leaders we have been talking to).
