The Trump Presidency 2.0

Every day I remind myself that if Kamala had won, I’d be ranting about how as each hour passes we’re becoming even softer of a country.

Trump 2.0 is beginning to lose the charm that he had the first time around. He didn’t seem all that dangerous before. Now?

Gotta pick a lane here my man! I know which side is currently having more fun...

When Lindsay Graham flips on his support for Ukraine, you know something isn't right.

The "fact checking" rn is hilarious.

Uhhhhh ACKSHUALLY he said thank you on like 10 tweets already." - ABC.

So, what you're saying is... stuff said online is COMPLETELY different than in face negotiations, and the stuff they put on social media is crafted to create a response, and in person it can be completely different?

Great investigative journalism there, Fourth Estate.

Is he more dangerous than the alternative would have been? I don't think so.

At least not to America as a whole. I concede he's hella-dangerous to the Deep State (that never existed?) and the political-media complex.

I know you’re right, I know you are 100% right.

I’ve always been more of a diplomat, tried to handle business tactfully and behind closed doors as much as possible.

Trump‘s in your face style might be the right way to go, But it sure is uncomfortable.… Maybe that’s the point? Maybe that’s what this country actually needs.

I loved--loved--watching that interview, with Trump and Vance holding Zelensky's feet to the fire.
For all the talks about "norms" and "what America aspires to be" lately, I couldn't agree more.

Reagan famously walked out of negotiations with Gorbachev in '86. Sometimes you need to remind people that America is the gorilla in the room.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

So, I wonder if this is kind of Z's exist strategy. He knows he can't be the guy who gets the country where it needs to go. This way he goes out shaking his fist at the world, and doesn't live long enough as the hero president to die a villain. "We were still fighting when I left."

He can now move his wife to his Paris condo and go to drag shows with Macron.

I can get behind this, as well as the posturing @Blizzard mentioned earlier. The world is a stage... and Zelensky is an actor, after all (who got fired by a reality TV superstar).

BAHAHA typing it out made me laugh. How can you not love this timeline?!
