Just from an organizational and coherent national policy perspective, how could USAID **not** be under the State Department? If USAID is supposed to “end extreme poverty and promote resilient, democratic societies,” as stated in the article, shouldn't that be done under the direct supervision of the Department of State, whose mission is to "advance U.S. interests and values abroad while promoting a peaceful and prosperous world?" What's to stop USAID from going off on its own program and unintentionally (or, perhaps, intentionally) act in ways that are counter to the goals of the State Department and/or the President of the United States?
One of our senior staff members called it the "Shock and Awe" phase. His question was will the end result be Desert Storm or OIF/OEF?
I hope it's neither. Not going far enough in DS/DS is what ended up with OIF.

You have to get over listening to Dan Bongino, but the underlying information is interesting- especially given the revelation from Michael Shellenberger that USAID (and OCCRP, the cut out along with Chemonics) funds CIA regime change and owned media arms (like Politico) to push their narrative,.
The Ukraine impeachment came directly from non-sourced reporting of a whistleblower who didn't hear the call himself (theyself? IDK), rather, referenced a "report" from a media outlet we now know is government-funded. The media runs with the story, Trump gets impeached for asking why Ukraine is quite obviously a money-laundering front with USAID as a prime player in that whole scheme.
Now, I know the Democrats would never try a coup of a sitting president using the levers of power and control they possessed... well except when they did it to Biden... you get it.

I don't know, which is why they need to release the info. If they don't, at best Trump is covering for people and at worst he's one of them.
Deep State, pedo rings, sex trafficking at the highest levels...all of these tentacles go back to Lolita Island in some form or fashion. We know the FBI carted off truckloads of evidence from Epstein's properties. Ghislaine went to jail, we KNOW Epstein is dirty, so release the tapes. Release the logs, release as much as you can. Screen grabs from the surveillance video, stills, whatever. Release the info. Don't tell us about how we're protecting kids while allowing Epstein's co-conspirators to go unnamed and unpunished.
Otherwise, you look like you're a part of a pedo-run deep state.

Trump has admitted to hanging with Epstein. I'm a Trump supporter, and I don't see him doing Pedo shit. But there is still a there there. I'd like to see him clear his name IF he's innocent. But, I don't think he would nominate people who were ever going to indite him. So if the Epstein thing doesn't proceed, we the people have to wonder why.
I tend to agree with the overall point, but I will disagree in the context of what we have seen in the last 3 weeks.
You ever seen the prior Chairman of the Joint Chiefs have his access to federal buildings stripped before? Ever seen a CIA director lose their clearance? Ever seen an unelected bureaucrat (Fauci) lose his security detail? Ever seen someone promise to declassify the JFK, MLK, RFK files and then do it? Trump also PNG'd Epstein from his club (for acting like a pedo) prior to the allegations of sexual assault and hadn't spoken to him in 15 years...
This video is from a prosecutor who deposed tons of these folks (in relation to Epstein) and says point-blank that Trump was the only one who would pick up the phone and actually provide information.
Now you can take all that with a grain of salt. I would offer; if I was complicit in the trafficking and abuse of children, the last thing I would do is schedule an open ended one on one with prosecutors and provide them with information that would (conceivably) lead me to spending the rest of my life in prison.
I would argue- there's a couple decades of first hand accounts that seem to all fit the narrative that Trump and Epstein were in the same circles, there are some pictures out there of Trump and Epstein, Trump was on the flight logs- and then Trump figured out who Epstein was, severed him from his life, and went so far as to provide a prosecutor "helpful information" to the prosecution of Epstein.
But hey- Orange Man is Hitler, so I get it.

And there may be others in those circles needing cover. If he doesn't blow the lid on this because his rich buddies are involved, he's complicit. I'd like nothing more than my favorite President to open this up, clear his name, and destroy every pedophile involved.
Yeah, I am totally willing to burn everyone that had any role in it, Trump included- but creating a false dichotomy of "if he doesn't release it, he's either complicit or protecting his friends" is a bridge too far for me.
I'll just wait 6 months, that's the going rate from "conspiracy theory" to "turns out we were correct".
I think if Trump was on that list, they would have used it by now. Find a way to justifying releasing a redacted version with Trump visible. Their idiots would lap it up and ignore the redactions.

For the better part of two years, every 24 hour cycle started with breaking news about Adam Schiff telling us he finally had the smoking gun.
For the better part of the last ten years the left has twisted every possible narrative into a braid trying to undermine and impugn Donald Trump. They have hidden, fabricated, buried, and misrepresented so many bits and pieces for evidence about Donald Trump that it is hard to even imagine some of the red herrings they have held in reserve "for an emergency"
If they had enough to smear him with innuendo - they'd have used it in 2020. If they had enough PDF dirt to add it the other 34 felony charges levied against him - they would have.
They had four years of letting a bumbling octogenarian distract the public from the apparatchiks in the democrat party building an absolutely airtight Epstein/Trump collusion smear to keep him from stealing the election from Doug Emhoff's wife...
...and yet, nothing surfaced.
The dissidents on the left side of America tried their very best to use evidence of a consensual relationship with an adult film star to smear Donald Trump - and there wasn't enough there to raise more than a handful of eyebrows.
