‘Snow White’, Poisoned By Controversy At Box Office, Won’t Have A Happy Ending With $115M Loss: What Went Wrong
Art 1 Sec 4 summarized: States run elections, but Congress can step in and set nationwide standards. Trump's EO on the matter will force Congress to step in and set nationwide standards. How that is "Exective overreach" I am not grasping. To your bolded- it's not the 50th time. It's the 162nd time since Trump took office, and that doesn't count the times we "cried" about lawfare specifically aimed at Trump himself. I am happy to agree with your framing that people complain about lawfare constantly; I reject your premise that it isn't happening and highlighting it when it does happen isn't "crying about it"- that's super close to a pro-statist position, although I am about 99.99% sure that's not your intent.See, this is just executive overreach. Plain and simple. Article 1 section 4 of the constitution grants almost exclusive authority to the states to decide how they conduct elections, and subsequent SCOTUS cases have only strengthened it. This will get demolished in the courts and the administration will go on X The Everything App and cry about “lawfare” for the 50th time.
God that child is unbearable. Also- THAT'S NOT THE STORY OF SNOW WHITE. Nowhere close. For those who didn't understand my "weird, weird" post:

Well, you know- give it more than a day. Macroeconomics isn’t a turnkey solution- and it’s only a loss if you panic sell. So, I am planning on retiring in one year and 10 months....this Tarif crap fucking up the economy is pissing me off....
FIX IT!
I understand the frustration. We are all feeling it. I spoke with a cashier at WalMart today and she just about broke down in tears during our conversation. Said she is trying so hard, working overtime to pay the bills. Well, eggs were 5.00 and gas was 3.50 before Trump, and its only been about two months, so I'm still hopeful it'll improve. But it's not going to happen yesterday.Well, you know- give it more than a day. Macroeconomics isn’t a turnkey solution- and it’s only a loss if you panic sell.
The stock market is a visual representation of the feelings of oligarchs. It’ll be fine. Or it won’t. But at least we are all having fun!!
Everything is going to depend on the response by the other world leaders. If they cave, our economy will skyrocket. If they hold fast and we do too, it gets a lot more interesting...Well, you know- give it more than a day. Macroeconomics isn’t a turnkey solution- and it’s only a loss if you panic sell.

I'm optimistic but I paid 5.19 for eggs and 3.29 for gas today at WalMart, cheaper than Kroger or Meier here. Gas was down to 2.49 but shot back up.I paid 3.00 for a dozen eggs on Monday, $2.69/gallon today.

Careful touching your Schwab; you'll get hairy palms, then go blind.Paid $20.00 for 5 dozen at Costco last Friday. Guess I'll pop a look at the grocery tomorrow and see if things have changed, but I'm gonna say y'all are seeing outlier prices. Maybe your market didn't have a bunch of hens killed by Jill.
Maybe I should buy some more Amazon. I haven't touched my Schwab account in a long ass time. Just been on autopilot with fidelity funds.
I knew a guy in college who had a similar experience to this.https://www.reuters.com/technology/...ing-distributing-pirated-software-2025-04-02/
I’m conflicted on this. On the one hand, if the person is talented with a computer, I’m happy they work for the Government and are doing the right things now. On the other hand, he’s never paid for his crimes and has decided to turn his life around for the good of society.
