Something that's a real issue for Trump- he ran on no new wars, and I voted for that. If the admin doesn't stick to the below lists- they're cooked, as the kids would say. He's gonna lose the plurality of power he's built with these other issues- and that's me included.
1- Mass deportations.
2- Secure the border
3- Fix legal immigration
4- Economy
5- Arrests and prosecutions (accountability) for the deep state folks that have harmed America.
FBI is alleging that China interfered with the 2020 elections. The J6 committee. AIPAC influence. Domestic terror organizations funded by taxpayers and operating with impunity. These issues matter to the rank and file Trump voter, and unless they focus- the mid terms are not going to be pretty.
People aren't going to switch parties, the republicans are gonna throw their hands up and just not turn out, and that turn out is what won him the election. Things in America are bad enough now- he has to capitalize by focusing on what got him the election.
“Back in 1914, we showed Mexico who’s boss. In 1992, we did it again in LA. Now, in 2025, we’re bringing it full circle,” Trump declared during a press event at Camp Pendleton, flanked by Marines and National Guard troops. “This medal celebrates our troops who bravely defended federal buildings from skateboard-wielding anarchists and abuela chancla-tossers.”

For a dude people are breathlessly telling me "just can't wait to get into a new war", every single thing this admin is doing is 180 out from that.
How many times do we have to do this? Trump operates from a hyperbolic, maximalist position ("It's too late to negotiate! I told you to surrender fully!"), then gives the out ("But if Iran wants to come to the White House, I mean, it might be too late but I will talk"), and backs it up with consequences ("Attack plans have been approved, but I alone hold the go/no go, and I will wait until 1 second before it's absolutely needed before I give the go ahead.")
When CNN is talking about Trump's commitment to a diplomatic resolve (while still actually posturing forces to further his "peace through strength" doctrine), you know something ain't adding up.

Madman protocol a la Nixon. I think to your bolded- this is what I have been harping on.I think the thing about Trump and his way of speaking is that he's just crazy enough to do it. We (including global nations) wouldn't pay him any mind if he was just hyperbolic in his speech; its the fact that every so often he actually follows through. The unpredictability give a strength to him doing things like negotiations.
I will say regarding Iran specifically, Trump has less antagonists (both politically and philosophically) this administration. If he wants to attack, he doesn't have anyone who will challenge him. Realistically, he may have more hawks giving him advice now that he did 16-20.
Ok- well why is he acting so consistently in this regard counter to those talking points, then?
Yep. And now people are trying to act like they didn't know.I called this one about a month ago after KJP’s defection. The new Dem playbook everyone! We’re about to see some Inception level storytelling.
When it comes to the health of the Commander in Chief, America has a long tradition of denial, deception, and delayed disclosure. Franklin D. Roosevelt’s wheelchair was all but erased from public view. John F. Kennedy’s Addison’s disease and back problems were hidden behind a young, charismatic smile. Ronald Reagan’s early signs of cognitive decline were quietly discussed before they were ever publicly disclosed.
So when people act surprised...
What a timeline!
Doesn't answer the actual claim, doesn't prove anything other than like a week of clean livin', but go off kween (I guess?).
What Elon Musk's drug test post shows (and doesn't) amid accusations
Yeah man it just is what it is. This could have been exactly what they’re claiming and have this exact test 6 months later. Two things true at once.I dunno.. I feel like all my liberal friends were suggesting that he was on something daily. Saying that this doesn't prove he wasn't on it back in November seems like a goal post being moved.

The crazy thing- Jewish folks vote overwhelmingly D. Like, forever. 45% of Jews voted for Trump this last election cycle (up from 30%), but estimates on Jewish voting for Democrats is as high as 73% in some estimates, as low as around 63% in others. The victims of 9/11 elected a terrorist sympathizer that preached "Globalize the Intifada".
